Subhashok The Art Centre, Bangkok in collaboration with G13 Gallery, Malaysia present ‘ACROSS THE BRIDGE’, a group exhibition by Thai and Malaysian artists.
This exhibition is about the current state of South East Asia that is growing and shifting continuously. We are in the middle of Change era. As we look back at the beginning, it helps us to understand the present from which we can see the end of this bridge.

Shrinking Violet
In the modern culture, an individual can share their thought openly and act confidently. People trend to value a certain kind of behavior. The term 'shrinking violet' might be used to describe someone who just behave differently than them.

The turtle is spirit animal and one of the oldest living animals in the world. In Asian, turtle is a symbol of finding inner wisdom, persistence, endurance.
By reconstructing the image of Venus, Kittaya Poolsawatdi questions the ideal of perfection. Rather than celebrating flawless beauty, the work suggests that perfection is inherently fragile—its permanence impossible, its meaning constantly shifting.
